Just when HK has the prize clearly in his sights, S!K Ellie, patiently biding her time and camouflaged behind a facade of helpfulness, waylays her nemesis with devastating consequences! Clever Girl!![]()
Liners would make a nice option as well. I wonder with today's CNC capabilities if liners would even have to be fitted. Especially on S!K's blades, they all have removable scales anyway, so the option for liners might not be that big a deal.
Ah, liners, that would be nice. The handle on the 5.1 was a little thinner then I like and when I get my GSO 6s, it would be nice to get some liners with them. I'm sure I could make my own but if I could get them already cut for Survive! handles, that would be great. Although I bet have a variety of sizes and colors available might take away time that could be used for making knives.
Brick red or OD green factory liners for my bone linen GSO 6 would be nice though.
I had the same thought in the back of my mind, as well as wondering about the profitability. Someone could probably set up and make a good business providing accessories for the Survive! line, things that the shop is just too busy to do.
True, like liners and hats.![]()
While I would like to see a lot of things, I'm still waiting patiently to see the designs for the Machete and Axe.

The only thing with post-factory liners is (i think) the sheath - wouldn't adjustments need to be made to take into account the increased thickness? Otherwise that's a fantastic idea. I really think liners dress up a knife
Good point. Yes, nearly all the time that is correct. If the sheath is a little loose, you might get away with it, but generally you're going to need to have a sheathmaker build a new one if you add liners since the kydex uses the scales for retention.
