Survive! Knives Heads Up

CoiledWire got it! I should've known, LOL! My BFs buddy is cornering the market on all the GSOs on the exchange. He's going to be catching up with OBX soon ;)

He is on a lightning pace. I've talked with him via PM a bit, seems like a really good dude. Maybe someday he'll post up here in the sub so we can drool over the pics :)

I cannot believe 3 survives on the form all in one day and I missed them all !!
Need to quit work so I can troll for blades all day , but wait I would not have funds to buy them !

Used 4.1 with ferro notch, jimp-less over on the 'bay. Thought I'd mention it as it is one of the rare birds with no jimping.

I should've never sold that thing. It was one of the 4.1's that I received in a package deal.
Kinda crazy that he's charging twice what he got it for and it's a factory 2nd because the logo was etched twice.

Perhaps the market has spoken.

There hasn't been enough time elapsed for the market to speak. They are being listed for more ranging from $25 more to over $100 on top of MSRP on eBay. I think that it has more to do with Survive! finally having started to fulfill their long standing orders so many of those waiting for their 1st's are willing to wait a bit longer and those who missed out are hedging their bets that there will be more appearing which will push the prices down by a little bit. Finally, the color combination and handle scales material matters in a resale market. Some have more "curb appeal" than others ;)

P.S. I still "hate" you for snagging that tumbled GSO 4.1. You better keep your distance from me or I may do something involuntarily! .... J/K, well maybe not! :D

I agree as well. That's pushing the boundaries in price imo. Still, with the 4.7 being slow to roll out, I thought someone would have snagged it by now. Especially being 3V.
Glad to see forum guys refusing to pay the big auction site prices.

On a side note, has there been any discussion on extra sheaths/supplies being available for the 4.7's? Would love to pickup a spare sheath in black once they're available.

For our resident arithmeticians those keeping scores:

I just placed an order for a GSO 5.0 sheath on the S!K site and I have order number: 9449. I had place a preorder for a GSO 4.5 BC on 6/05 and I was given order # 9417, so that is a sequential increase of 32 units. This is going to be a very lean month by the looks of things, specially if some folks are either panicking or have ran out of patience and are going to be requesting refunds. Ellie should make a huge effort to run a Monday sale before the month is out. The sound of Cha-Ching is a very soothing and comforting sound ;)

Fixed it. :D

This is definitely a slower month than usual, but I'm not worried about it. We fully expected, and planned for, things to slow down as preordering closed up for the small and middle sized knives. The big knives don't get as many orders, likely due to the extra price tag on them. The GSO-4.5 Bushcraft is a more specific design so it also doesn't get the same attention as some of the other models. Then with us being away there hasn't been as many Factory 2nds slipping through as usual, so no Monday sales either. We also expected that once we knew what June was turning into. There might be something available late in the day on the 27th, but no guarantees until Guy gets back.

It's still there so I kept looking at it and looking at it and looking at it, because I could've sworn that I had seen that knife somewhere before till I reached my Eureka moment and voila:

Here's where I had seen her:
