Survive! Knives Heads Up

We're in Wisconsin, transporting beer is thirsty work, so the better stuff rarely makes it to delivery ;)

(not my pic, but brewed nearby)

That's funny:)

I'll bring Leinenkugel's next time I'm in Texas ;)

Silver, if you ever make it all the way down here from WI, the beer is on me and bring some knives and I'll build you a couple sheaths FREE!!! With the drop loops!!!!

For those wondering, YES, there is a beer fridge in my shop. It gets HOT here in the summer (no A/C or heat in the shop).

Now THAT is an offer that is hard to refuse!!!!!

Does that free beer go for everyone?! That's my favorite brand. :D I'm not far from you, I'm in Spring.

For you it does. :D

I'm in West Houston, If I throw a rock across the street, it lands in Katy.

AND, the wife and I are looking at buying a bigger house and moving near SPRING!

You're invited!!!!

Pretty cool that you and TT are basically neighbors. If ever I get in that part of the country I will definitely look you guys up. If you find yourself in my neck of the woods, you're welcome any time. Thanks brother

Two new 5.1s just went up on the auction site. I think there prices are a little high.

Sure is nice to see some of these start hitting the market. Hopefully things will stabilize some on the prices.

I haven't been around SURVIVE! long enough or really the knife industry as a whole to see second market trends, but seeing three brand new 5.1's on the auction site does not make me happy. If they were ordered from the starter and the owner had a change of heart, that is one thing, but if they're getting flipped from Monday sales, I don't like the idea of that.

Without knowing how many units they shipped recently it's hard to form any opinion on it.

If they shipped 200 recently and 4-5 show up it's no big deal. If they sold 10 on Monday and 4-5 of them are on the auction site, that's a lot different.

I think we've went through this enough on other threads though. Seems most people are not happy to have the conversation.

It bugs the hell out of me also. I know that one of them is definitely a guy that flips knives for profit. Earning money off of someone else's hard work is just wrong in my book.

And another 5.1 just popped up for basically the same price as the others on the auction site. So now were up to 4 total now.

Its hard to tell whats going on. I clicked on one guys other items for sale and he has some other overly priced knives the other two didn't have any other items for sale. The last few ive seen on there at buy it now never sold. The auction ones have and the one 5.1 is over $350. If someone wants it that bad who are we to say someone cant sell them. It sucks but that is Merica. Id much rather buy direct from Survive! and wait. Its like Christmas all year.

I've been tryin' to tell everyone but no one listens......

Are you really telling me that at 249, 259, 279, no one would buy a GSO 5.1 from S!K? Look at the quality vs the only real competitors, Bark River and Ambush. Why sell at the same price or lower when you have the best quality out there?
