We're in Wisconsin, transporting beer is thirsty work, so the better stuff rarely makes it to delivery
(not my pic, but brewed nearby)

I'll bring Leinenkugel's next time I'm in Texas![]()
Silver, if you ever make it all the way down here from WI, the beer is on me and bring some knives and I'll build you a couple sheaths FREE!!! With the drop loops!!!!
For those wondering, YES, there is a beer fridge in my shop. It gets HOT here in the summer (no A/C or heat in the shop).
Now THAT is an offer that is hard to refuse!!!!!
Does that free beer go for everyone?! That's my favorite brand.I'm not far from you, I'm in Spring.
Man I guess so. I didn't get invited, don't matter, I'm goin' anyway. You know, to guard the beer fridge with you while Ronnie builds the sheaths.![]()
You're invited!!!!
Morgan W. said:Two new 5.1s just went up on the auction site. I think there prices are a little high.
If they shipped 200 recently and 4-5 show up it's no big deal. If they sold 10 on Monday and 4-5 of them are on the auction site, that's a lot different.
I haven't been around SURVIVE! long enough or really the knife industry as a whole to see second market trends, but seeing three brand new 5.1's on the auction site does not make me happy. If they were ordered from the starter and the owner had a change of heart, that is one thing, but if they're getting flipped from Monday sales, I don't like the idea of that.
It bugs the hell out of me also. I know that one of them is definitely a guy that flips knives for profit. Earning money off of someone else's hard work is just wrong in my book.
