Bigfoot 'researchers' and Survivorman... Made for each other. Makes me wonder what took them so long?

And makes me wonder what's coming next? Prepper Wife Swapping? Gold miners competing in timed cookoffs? Pawn Stars and Hardcore Pawn guys living together in Drama Mansion?

Bob, that was last night's episode where sasquatch pawned some gold he found while panning with preppers, all to pay-off a week of heavy partying with Anthony Bourdain and the guy from Man Vs. Food They thought they were hangin' Gregg Allman!

In all seriousness though, you know how Mother Nature likes to mess with people. All this "bigfoot can't be real" stuff is setting you up for a heavy woods, late night encounter

That is some of the most fake looking video manipulation I have seen. i can't believe grown people are falling for this crap. Is there someone here from the FX/Digital animation side that can voice their opinion?

I bet Chumley would pay a few bucks for one of Rick Dyer's fake bigfoots. Or maybe it'll end up in the next episode of Storage Wars, propped in the back corner under a sheet...

I can't believe no one has brought this up. Here is concrete "evidence" of the existence of bigfoot. Pictured below is one of several horses that have had their manes braided. The only logical answer- BIGFOOT of course .....

panzer, from my experience with 3D animation, someone could do that pretty easily. there isn't much movement, and a single plane of focus. That said, I think that both of those were "practical" effects, just dudes in makeup. Getting that quality of animation would be fairly expensive, and there are not too many hobbyists that would be able to pull that off. Getting a mask made up would be comparatively cheaper, I think and thats why they have the two videos that look so similar in style, but the faces look like two different animals. I feel like if they were animated, there would be more than just eye blinks.
The bigfoot running video I'm quite sure is a dude in a suit. The video where he is waving the flare around, I think is "real" in that I have met very few people who can push their voices that hard (including several rock vocalists) for that long all on their own. I think he is legitimately panicking there, but I think he is being chased by some very confused raccoons or something, or maybe just the wind and his own echo.
I think Les found a good way to make buck, and I can't fault him there.
