I was just drinking my ice tea when I he said that! LOL I almost had tea come out my nose.
 
Haha .. looks like Les had a bad trip off of that Betel Nut he was chewing
He said it wasn't as powerful as cocaine or opium ....hmmmmmm :eek:
 
i couldn't stop laughing when he did that betel nut shiet! every 3 or 4 seconds was him saying, "hmmmmmm....... huuuuuuuuuuhaaaaaa....hmmmmmmm....!"
 
I thought the nut thing was very funny. Would have been cool if he had gotten the pig!
 
I'm going to miss the show, but I can understand that there is only so much he can do with the format and theme.
 
Yeah, the nut deal was hilarious.

He was expecting some minor effects and ended up high as a kite.

I was rolling on the floor.

I liked it.I didn't understand the whole "getting high" part,in a survival show though.:confused:
 
It was a great final episode. I am going to miss watching his show but hopefully he will come back with something different. Until then I guess I can watch that other guy :o
 
I can understand your point but I found that part to be interesting and somewhat informative. I have heard of beetle nut before but did not realize that it produced a high.

He had an empty stomach.He had diarrhea,was vomiting & suffering from parasites...soooo... he got high??WTF??
Seemed like giving up to me.If it were a true life or death scenario,I'd want my wits about me.

...anyway,I loved Les' show & I'll miss it very much.

I believe he actually knew what the effects would be. Since a good deal of "average" people know it's effects he as a "survival expert" damn well should have known.
I think it was just a way of him saying screw this show, it's the end and I'm going out on a HIGH note:D
 
I thought it was a relatively bad episode.

That was more or less an episode dedicated to 'how not to survive.'

OK, the betel nut thing was funny, I'll give y'all that.
