I spent two days sending emails back and forth working out a deal for his SOG knife. We agreed on a price w/ shipping and payment by paypal + I would pay fees. I asked him if the blade tip looked new or had it been dropped on. The next email I get from him is that he is going to back out of the deal unless I send him a paypal payment as a gift. Seems very SUSPICIOUS. I know he has some feedbacks here but what legitimate seller would ask you to do something dishonest like that on paypal. I do not recommend doing business with him, he definately wasted my time.

No, I just became suspicious.
ARAK conveniently forgot to mention few other details.
In any event it took place on JD, not BF.
I don't think I'm allowed to post a link,
but if anybody wants to email me - I'll respond.

ARAK! Was this deal on Bladeforums? If not, the feedback belongs on the forum the deal was discussed on, not here.

I sold a Microtech to benyaM95 Ranger Knif and it was a nice smooth transaction.
Even though he's in Canada he took care of everything with ease. Even wiring the payment straight to me. I had the cash in hand right away. Great deal!

Benya is a great guy, for what it's worth!

Since it sounds like this didn't happen on BF, why are you posting here ARAK?

Re-opened. There was communication through BF email.

Let's keep in mind that this isn't illegitimate on benyaM95 Ranger Knif's part. It's too bad it took so long for the deal to fall through. But this is exactly what we tell people to do: don't rush into a deal if you are uncomfortable with any aspect of it. That's why we stress communication. Better to back out than suffer remorse later.

We don't want people saying they'll take it and then disappearing. But talking about a deal and deciding not to go through with it is actually all right.
