There’s never a need to send RMD back!
If you’re not happy with colour combo... that just means you need to get another combo, then possibly another one... and another... till you find the pretty one that you want to keep pretty for display, while the ugly ducklings do all the work required

Only problem with that is it would slow me down from getting a larger swamp rat that my collection needs. Not sure if I go to the rucki as a machete/golok which I use a lot or if I should scour the forum for that 9-11in chopper to complement the RW. Both eventually but I'm not made of money yet.

That would be nice, can't seem to find time to scratch myself !! Maybe when the Mistress arrives (got to Sydney this morning). I am interstate for rest of the week now though....

This may be more of an greenish tan and it's clearly different than the natural canvas micarta of my lionsteel dom or my GEC's (not pictured).

P.S. I've emailed swamp rat through the website but since I know I'll have to wait a few days and it's labor day weekend, trying to figure out if I'm good to beat on it or if I should hold off and keep ready for a possible return and correction if it's wrong. I have plenty of knives so it wouldn't be a problem to hold off other than the anticipation of playing with it.

Didn't get a chance to get out and enjoy the RMD this weekend on account of the weather, either hot and humid and awful or thunderstorms. Then there was the need to paint another room of the house so not a wasted weekend at least.

Did get the sheath for it from JRE, size N of their stock offerings if anyone is interested.

Much appreciated; I’m seeing if I can make it work but it’s a little on the high side...and I just picked up a Ratweiler. I’m probably about to put up a R5, DS6, and possibly my M6 in the exchange.

The ratweiler was a good choice, if my bias isn't obvious by the pics earlier in this thread.
 
Maybe even a mental disorder?

Should find a specialist to pronounce it as such, I could really use a disabled person card for my parking issues...

Maybe you could get one for a steel imbalance. Of course you know what the cure for that is. :)
