I do agree that this would be the greatest variation of the greatest Bussekin knife ever.
 
I'm proud of the N2K RMD idea...and to refresh everyone...I did not name it. Started as a thread on a variant and grew from there. If it becomes a real knife....even Pinocchio would envy it.

Pride is my sin and I wear it well.

Sounds good. I'm flexible on price. I've looked at every existing comparable Busse and nothing yet is the N2K RMD.
 
I remember reading that they won't make a blade that is basically somebody else's idea (for obvious reasons). I'll be the odd man out (as per usual) and just say that there isn't really much practical difference between INFI & SR-101 in a 5" blade, so would it really be that much better anyways? OK guys, let the flaming commence....... ;)
 
Well, the LCABS, SCABS, and CABS were all a forum members idea. I can't remeber who, but someone started a thread after the release of the BOSS Street asking for those knives by those exact names. Keep the faith, man!

What do you mean somebody else's?
It would be RMD in INFI with a few mods, noone is reinventing a wheel here.

Yeppers! It's a RMD SE with canvas micarta in INFI. No need for retooling, reprogramming, re-etc....just change the steel and let it come to life.

Biggest difference is likely the rust resistance. And since this idea would be sexy in satin that's a big reason for the want.
 
Oh..and the Custom shop does listen to "somebody else's idea(s)". Doesn't mean things get a go...but...

Out of my control. IDC if they CG or Satin or whatever these, just as long as they come to life. However, my druthers is for satin like the SE; and for simplicity they should all be the same...but none of these decisions are up to me.
 
I had to go dig in the bucket for this already seen photo...but...I like RMDs...and apparently CS variants in satin.

 
No idea what all the N2K RMD LMFAO SAR 399 stuff means, still learning but I want one also. Sign me up.
