I'm getting hitched tomorrow! I am one lucky man to have scored such a girl as my faicee. So, In the spirit of lucky SOB's, I'm giving each one of my groomsmen one of these beauties. I've been holding back on showing these off, but I figured I would give you folks a look at these before I split out for a week. I'll post a bit more when I get a chance, but for now.....

Looks like everyone is going to have a good day tomorrow. Congrats!
Thanks, Gus! I plan to do my best with the kegs I'm dealt with.

Thank, Dubz. They are an attractive set. The grain of the curly maple really popped on these.

Jerry,

Thanks for the cool thread, but it has nothing to do with me as far as I'm concerned. Marriage is a lifelong commitment. The special day that you are going to have tomorrow will be something that you will remember the rest of your life. For me to be a part of that by my knives being gifts for your groomsmen is a real honor. Glad I could be there one way or the other, enjoy yourself, beer is on me next time we're together.

Congrats Jerry! I hope you have an amazing wedding day. And those are some lucky groomsman. :)

By the way lets have a round of applause for my 9 yr. old son who did all the lanyards on these three hornets for Jerry.

*clapping* Isn't child labor grand? I'm teaching my 3 year old how to make bullets. In the future I will be getting him to make em so I can shoot em ;)

His son did a hell of a job on the lanyards.
In other news, I am drunk off my ass...... which doesn't happen often with my tolerance. Enjoy it people!

Sitting at the airport now. Thankfully my headache is gone. That bourbon my cousin kept buying me at the bar caught up with me quickly.

Thanks for the well wishes, everybody! The bride was absolutely stunning - words don't quite cut it... at least any that I could string together. I am quite blessed to have her.

It was also a beautiful day yesterday, to boot. We had our wedding outside at a state park with the reception in a nice large shelter house. Everything went great! The craft beer we had, food, music, and cake were big hits. I had some jaws hit the floor when my groomsmen discovered that there was a hornet wadded up in tissue paper tucked into each of the cheap ass pint glasses I gave them. :D

Those of you curious.... the magua was on the belt all day.

Thanks, Todd. I'll have to take you up on that beer!
I'm still going to give you some credit on the hornets you made for me. For a small, simple knife as the hornet is (and boy, is it a hell of a worker too) the level of craftsmanship, quality, and care that goes into your work was so very apparent in the three you made for me.

Jerry, congrats to you and your new wife. We've gotta get that gal a T.M. Hunt blade so she doesn't take yours in the divorce.:D

Jerry, Congrats on the commitment that will change your life forever. Getting married was one of the best decisions I have ever made. That's awesome of you for getting the sweet gifts. All I got from my brother-in-law was a tshirt:D

Todd, as usual this blades are beautiful and those lanyards rock. They really set the knife off.

Those are very nice Jerry. Congrats!!!!
Thanks!

Sweet swarm. Enjoy your honeymoon!
Thank you - so far so good!

Thank you, Murph! I don't think well have to worry about that, but I'll still have to get her one so she doesn't steal mine. She was eyeballing the Yumas Todd had on the bench pretty hard. I probably ought to order one of those when I order my Yumama/Trade water later this year if I don't want it stolen.

Thanks, OFM4! I feel pretty good about it. ;) The wife is a wonderful girl, I'm absolutely smitten by her and she has been my best friend for almost 8 years now - We've been engaged for 5 of those years. Oh, she's a hell of a cook too and knows her way around a garden.

As far as the ingrates that got the hornets.... you should have seen then jaws hit the floor. The few times I've powered up the phone to check it, I've had a few excited texts that they used theirs for something or another. One even sent me a picture of a spiralled MT. Dew bottle.
