Swedge without the plunge

This is a piece of raw Pre-1972-act walrus tusk ivory, not fossilized. 100% legal (for now.) It had been in the family since the 60’s and my father finally decided I could use it. Kinda cool.
(I had to wait 48 years!)

Hey guys, I don’t think I’m going to get to a video before I head to the cabin, my bandsaw was slipping, and a key on the brass gear sheared off. I replaced it, but the shaft is in the freezer so I can put the wheel back on. I might get it on later today, but even then, I probably won’t have time to video, edit, and post it. I’ll do it when I get back from the cabin. My wife keeps encouraging me to do a vlog, so this might just get me started.

no worries, enjoy the time at the cabin and if you do start a vlog, keep us posted!
