swedges and false double edges

I like just about everything a little. At least there are good bands in just about every genre of music. I hate the word alternative though--I'm a punk rocker from way back. Ska is cool. Mudhoney is probably my favorite group, I've been listening ot them since the day their first ep came out. Johnny Cash is a music god also. There's no telling what will be flowing from my speakers as I sharpen and clean my knives! I had to get at least one knife reference in here to keep it legit.

Well I find it hard to sharpen my knives unless there is some music playing! Preferably something with a heavy consistant beat. I will listen to a wide variety of music, EXEPT for country or rap. Just not my thing. when it comes to my Metal, i like it very fast, such as Dimmu Borgir, Emperor, Morbid Angel, and a few others which are probably too contraversial to list here. I'm also a big Sabbath fan, and I think that the song Electric Funeral was made specificaly for shapening knives!I'm also interested in ethnomusical oddities, includig many of those that you listed. especialy fond of bagpipes, both new (Scottish) and old (middle eastern)
Does Joculatores Upsalienses play the Nyckelharpa? Those things are beutiful! that would be the perfect music to sharpen a puukko to! Maybey I should start a thread called "knife sharpening music" !
But most of my music is like my knives. Made of metal!
