Sweet James rips off designs

*** I have recently discovered that Sweet James is not the person I thought him to be. The first indication of this apparantly came to light ten (10) days AFTER I made the purchase. I hereby retract my statement and request that the moderators amend the title of this thread to reflect my new position or delete this altogether (preferred). I do not condone anyone who steals designs from another, who misrepresents themselves, who lies or is otherwise disreputable. I only wish my forum mates had warned me earlier or had made a post to that effect sooner. I do not understand how this individual was allowed to be a member for such a long period of time. But that is neither here nor there. What is done is done. I cannot undo the transaction but can only state that I am horrified and angered immensely. ***

Sweet James has been banned numerous times for ripping off designs and lying not only here but on other forums as well.

My opinion of Sweet James is not printable.

Actually, it's Tim (as far as I know), and sorry to say this, but your knife was probably made in Pakistan or India from mystery steel. :(
 
Could someone send me a PM or email and explain? The person who sold me the knife is named Jamie Nunez. I don't understand what is going on, but would really appreciate a heads up. Thanks, guys.
 
Check out this specific post then click the thread for more information. Could you possibly have not used the correct user id? Sweet James has a history that is revealed in the thread.

I'm angry at Sweet James, aka Tim Noble, aka whoever. I found out about this ten (10) days AFTER I bought, received and posted this review. Now that I am aware of the facts, I am trying to get the thread deleted or the title changed to reflect my position. I DO NOT CONDONE SCUMBAGS!

His identity of Sweet James was only confirmed as of 9/16/09. Up until that time, no one knew for sure. Esav ran an IP check to confirm.

I understand, just ask a Super Mod to change the title of your thread to what you really want it to read.

I have edited my first post in this thread to reflect my feelings in this matter. I am so angry, words cannot describe it. I am a supporting member, I buy knives often in the knifemakers forum, and I work hard to keep my good name because it's all I've got. I am more than angry. I am PISSED!!!

I understand, get a Super Mod to change the title of your thread to reveal what you really think of the guy once you got all the information. They will change it at your request. He really ripped some designs off. He had no morals.

Sorry to sound ignorant, but who would I contact? I'm not familiar with Super Mods? If you can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it!
 
I sent PM's to Bastid, Esav, Blues and Spark the times I needed it changed. KenC is also a super.

Service and Support post will also do it.

All this information Did NOT come out until your deal was done, there was nothing that anyone could have known on this board. Only when being traced backwards did the guys find out. AFTER your deal.

I gave Spark a shout and also posted in Service and Support. I'm not angry with my forum mates, please, I am angry - not with you! I appreciate that this guy, when found out, was banned forthwith. Unfortunately, I found out ten days too late. Thank you for the info! I'll note it for future reference.

One other option, is you could ask that the threads be merged into the Tim Noble one. They might do it so that all the information on him and "Sweet James" be in one place.

I'm for whatever the mod's and you guys want. If you think it will help our fellow members, I'm all for it. I just want the GOOD to be obliterated and to reflect the fact that Sweet James is NOT recommended by me. I do not condone his ilk.

Richard, I'd try it if I thought it would work. I'm fairly certain that PayPal wouldn't touch it. Besides, what's done is done. I've learned to be much more judicious and that there are some bad apples out there. I'll take the hit. I just don't want anyone else to!
