Swick 5/6

Thanks for update I pre ordered on knife center will that be in first order?

I have gotten so tired of waiting on these that TBH, I have pretty much lost all excitement for them. Oh well, someone else can have mine whenever they see daylight.

Sorry for your frustration. I must admit that I too am quite frustrated. We're still waiting for sheaths The sheath maker has run into a number of health issues that have slowed / stopped production. Eric is currently setting up and training for an additional maker.

Thanks for the update, Sal. Even in my impatience, I’m still really excited for these. Problems arise, and I’d much rather have to wait then for these to never have been produced at all. I’m glad Spyderco keeps making such cool and functional knives for us enthusiasts.

Well, I've lost the Swick that I had strapped to my backpack. So now I'm even more anxious for the new one.
 
Anyone hear anything recent in the Swicks? Seems it’s been crickets for awhile. Hope they are still a go.
 
After years of anticipation, the Swick 6 has been released! I don’t even know if it will fit my finger size, but I ordered one anyway. I have small hands so we will see. If it’s too small, it will go in my wife’s purse as an SD tool. I’ll be getting a couple of Swick 5s either way. I would say this has easily been one of my most highly anticipated knives ever, so I’m beyond excited!
 
Got my Swick 6. It’s perfect and all I’d hoped for. Sal, thanks for sticking it out with these in what I’d imagine was a frustrating process. Well worth the wait, and I’ve already ordered another for my wife. I’ll be picking up a few 5s as well.
 
Glad you like it, the bigger one is too big for me and the smaller one is def too small. I admittedly have weird hands
