s I wrote above, back in the day, I did EDC an SAK. I do not recall that it gave me any trouble in deploying or using any of the tools . . .but that was some 40 years ago. I was in my thirties and it rom hard work.
Don't remember the model of that knife. I would describe it as a delux camper's knife with the expected four regular tools but with a Philips head bit, sezors and mini cork screw. It traveled well in the right front pocket of my jeans.
An SAK is a genteel knife of uniformly higher quality. Using one to cut a ribbon wouldn't have offended the sensibilities of the ladies gathered at my mot6her-in-laws for tea, butt larger models hey are fully capable of heavier work.
Toda though,, a high end multitool is a more rugged option with wider utility suitable for a pocketable EDC in a construction, or oil field setting.
