Hi

Was thinking of placing an order with them, any recent experiences to share? Do they have the problem of accepting an order and when shipped, you realise that some items are on back order? Whats shipping like?

You'll find more feedback in GB&U, but every order I have placed with them has gone just fine. No problems at all.

They currently offer free shipping on online orders over $10.00.

ive ordered most of my knives and stuff from them over the last few years and never had a problem, and they ship pretty fast too. I would recommend them:thumbup:

I've been a Smoky customer for over 20 years and never had anything but top notch service.

My last order was three weeks ago.
 
I've always received excellent service from SMKW over the years.
 
Who are we talking about here? Is SWKW a typo for SMKW, Smoky Mountain Knife Works? If it isn't, if there is a dealer called SWKW that you're asking about, you can ignore all the answers you've gotten so far....
 
If your talking about Smoky Mountain Knife Works (eknifeworks.com), then you shouldn't have any problems. I order something from them at least once a week. I've never had anything put on backorder that wasn't listed as out of stock. I always check to see if they have something before I check anywhere else. It's also never taken more than 48 hours from order placement to delivery for me, even with their current free shipping. Though I live pretty close. It's also a cool place to visit if you get a chance.
