So there has been the gladius and the Japanese style swords waki and ruk but not that I'm saying it should be made but what about the ninja sword? I just think it would be neat to have all the japanese style swords with the Busse or kin touch to it?

What is the difference between a 'ninja sword' and the multiple Bussekin swords already made?

I like the idea. A short, straight, stiff all-purpose sword.
A friend told me that the Ninjas used their swords more like a tool.
I'd get one, with a DB kydex scabbard. :)
Swinecosa

Only if it has the INFI stars as the Tsuba :)

That's a Samurai sword.^ We want a Ninja-to.
With, INFI throwing spikes too.
:D

Lycosa pretty much hit the nail on the head and I'm sure there is more to them too! It was late at night and I was just doin some random thinking! I'd be in I mean I still need a wak and another ruk but I'd be in for a busse or kin ninja sword!

Scrapizashi (SP) is the blade you are talking about.

I do believe that the Samurai used the smallest of their swords (wakisashi?) as an all around tool.... They kept the larger sword for fighting.....

Read that somewhere :D

The Busse AK47 is pretty much "all around" IMHO .....

The Ninja-to was a straight blade.
The wakizashi was an auxiliary weapon to the katana.

I've always heard the ninja-to most likely never existed, that it is a thing that people today attribute to ninjas having with no historical basis. Kinda like the horns on Viking helmets, they never actually did that- someone made it up.....I looked up the wikipedia article and it says pretty much the same thing.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ninjatō

It did exist. The Ninjas used whatever sword, blade, they could acquire or have made on the cheap.

Ah yea, I don't know, just what I've heard - I am pretty sure about viking helmets not having horns though:p

If I was a Ninja, I'd wear a Viking helmet with the horns. :D
Now THAT I'd like to see... Where the heck did Rolf go... Don't know, but there's a Ninja over there in the shadows wearing a Viking helmet with horns!!!-----:D

Rolf is right, the AK has a Katana arch to the blade and so does the Butaniku.
Closer to the straight Ninja-To would be the SRKW Waki. It has a straight blade but would need to be about 10" longer.
