  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

SYKCO Celebrates Father's Day With The New WD5 ! ! ! . . . Coming This Sunday, June 18, 2023, At 9:00 PM Eastern!!!

To reduce the shoulder behind the edge & sharpen the edge itself there was some electricity involved, along with diamond plates, buffing wheels & compound, a bit of time on diamond & ceramic rods, and stropping.

I have been really impressed with what Dan and the Scrapyard guys have been able to do with AEB-L. Mine has been mostly a kitchen knife to this point and it has performed wonderfully. With hunting season here I hope to get a chance to use it more.

Which version is slicier, the regular WD5 or the trail point? Main use would be to field strip game.

Personally I would go with the trail point for field dressing/skinning. Either will serve you well but I like a narrower point for fine work.

100% agree! I actually used the trail point version as one of my primary butchering knives on my deer this year for tendon and silverskin removal for this exact reason.
