You can do no signature? I had to jump through hoops to get my last two. And I had to pay extra to go to them to pick it up.

dont risk it. ups is SUPER safe

What makes you say this? Not doubting but just wanted to share my experience that if you simply put 'Signature Confirmation' on the package it virtually guarantees it will make it there and not be misdelivered. I've done hundreds of packages this way and never had a problem. The driver can't release the package without your signature and I believe this is the weakest link, even insured mail will find it's way to my doorstep but they always knock for a signature (or darned near it) with anything sent 'Signature Confirmation' or they simply didn't fulfill your purchased requirement.

I actually find that UPS in my neighborhood will NEVER knock for a signature when Busse sends to me and I believe they always require signature how they ship it.

sometimes certified mail and signature confirmation get ''delivered'' before they're ''DELIVERED''

From my experience, it depends on where you live, and what you are shipping.
I live more than a quarter-mile down a dirt road, so USPS will not deliver to my house, they delivered to a gang box at the pavement. But UPS and FedEx and Amazon will all deliver to my house.

USPS seems to be a little rougher on the packages. I have received packages from customers with the knife sticking out of the box😳

But USPS seems to be less money for smaller packages. And FedEx and UPS are less money for a bigger packages.

The signature thing really varies between drivers. Because I have seen them all sign my name for me and just leave the box.
But UPS seems to be the most strict about signatures in my area, they will very seldom leave the box if a signature is required.

My UPS driver will sign my name then go into the dog pen and leave the package on the AC unit 🤣. He isn't worried about anyone else getting to it ...
The benefits of living in 50's America... (Northwest Arkansas) ... In a neighborhood of retired veterans that enjoy watching my back...

Old post but worth asking because, reasons. Have you ever called to report the drivers who are signing for you? I really think it's a matter of them doing what they can get away with and would expect this to change if you filed a complaint in the right places. I could be wrong if it's coming from the higher ups telling them to do this though.

Side note... Just unpacked my OMG-15 and have to say it's not what I was expecting.... based on a purely subjective initial gut feeling. Thought I would feel a lot more enamored with it for some reason but it just seems strange to me after having the TNT-15 for quite a while. At this point I'm thinking of just tossing it in the trough before I have a chance to get attached to it by swinging it around some more.

I never realized how innovative you guys were on steel, protocols, process and materials.

Was an interesting read about the departure of SR-101 (a steel I had previously never heard of). Really shed some light on just how specialized you guys are.

Beautiful gladius, looks like it could take a head off.. or two 🧐

Are you thinking of selling it? 😍

I know for my area, things changed during COVID. my UPS delivery guy asked me specifically if he was allowed to keep my signature on file and use it for deliveries because corporate allowed it due to social distancing efforts to keep their drivers safe. Since the COVID restrictions lifted, this became inconsistent; some drivers continued to “sign” for me, while others won’t release without someone home to sign it.

I have not complained because I prefer they leave them.
Usually, I am there working and I can see the gate. But it hasn't been a problem yet.
