I realize the celluloid is about as shrunken as can be, but colors on this "Thornton" brand knife are really cool.

Good steel too. This came in a mixed lot and found a home here pretty quickly.

It doesn't really fit with this thread, but I also have a Dawes & Ball commemorative penknife for the same coronation ( I think the other is by Harrison Fisher).

And there's this one, by Bowman & Pike, for QEII in 1953. Richards made a smaller model for that one too.

That muskrat is odd. It almost looks like it's just faded red, or that could just be it's normal color. Both sides match so I'll just say it's brown with a slight red tint.



This is an older Camillus teardrop. I'm guessing it's celluloid since it has shrunk so much. Tang stamp puts it mid teens to early 30s. Great yellow color. Not exactly sure if it was always yellow or if the celluloid became that awesome color with age, lol! Up close In person it almost looks like they were trying to imitate bone or ivory. If you look closely you can see lines in the covers.
