The handle material is called galalith, an early form of plastic.

I’ve googled galalith, and it typically looks much simpler than the elegant handle of your knife. Are you sure it’s not masur birch?

Yes, its white and pink, the color of uncooked bacon, and its not wood....

Glow-Worms were visible in August but now only the knife version...

That would be fireflies right? Because glow worm sounds like lysmask in Swedish 😉
I wish I’d see some fireflies. They are supposed to be relatively common also where I live (100 km west of Stockholm) but I don’t recall seeing any…
Cool knife btw.

Edit: sorry I just realised “glowworms” are synonymous with fireflies
