T.A. Davison Knives (Down the Custom Rabbit Hole)

I first saw this beautiful coke bottle pattern knife with the most amazing jigging. And so #1745 was born. F&F is outstanding. When I can afford it, I have a fondness for #1661.

#1890 arrived today. I have been following Todd’s work for awhile, but I never had the funds to commit. Last Saturday Todd posted this one up, guess he wasn’t happy with the handle material, so it was very nicely discounted. Serape micarta, probably not my first choice, but I don’t mind it. Besides it has the coined edge, mill relieved liner, all the good stuff to check out in his knives, so I went for it. Fit and finish is great and the fine detail work is a nice touch. The blade is well centered, sharp, and easily pinch-able. Very nice walk and talk with a satisfying snap. The price point also falls into the range where I feel I can carry and enjoy using this one. Thanks Todd!
