And a Queen. I really enjoy the ACSB covers.

Just happened to be carrying this today and found this thread. My TC barlow and its day's work.

Paul, if you want to darken that then try giving it a dyeing with strong tea. Worked on my CASE Humpback Whittler whose red was too lipstickish for my taste. It will blacken the cv blades and backspring nicely too! Blaine had a short tutorial on this but it's easy. Very strong tea, pinch of salt and soak for three four hours. degrease the bone first with ligher fuel or similar.Regards, W

One pink peanut cleaned with white spirit is now sunk in a bowl of strong, lightly salted tea.... Watch this space.

Cheers Will

Did you clean the bone really well first, with some lighter fluid or other such cleaner, to make sure any and all oil is removed from the surface of the bone? Without doing this first, the tea will have a hard time penetrating the bone, and you won't get much color change.

I rubbed it with white spirit. Maybe I didn't spend enough time on it....

Thanks Singin! It's a pattern that is near and dear to me as I was the lucky guy that got to name it!

Well that's pretty cool! I bought right into it! Love mine
