You're definitely not helping with my self control. Those are catalog worthy shots of two excellent knives. I'm really partial to red.

Thank you so much, Alan. High praise that I do not think I am worthy of, but I surely do appreciate the kind compliment.

Inky black ebony and deep red bone are easily my favorite cover materials and though the mustard yellow bone on the 56 has kind of grown on me, I cannot help but think how stunning it would have looked in red instead, especially with that most excellent shield choice.

The Red on the 43 is lighter than the Rust Red of a couple of 15s I have but it is not at all unpleasant. The variety is fun to experience.

These are fantastic little knives, aren't they? Only 50 in ebony made, and this is one of 26 w/o a serial number. It seems like it's too rare to use, but they're just too dang nice to not use.

My thoughts exactly. This is the knife I paid the most for, but when I was faced with a situation where I had to choose one knife for 3 months this was the one I chose.
