That sounds like a sweet bowl of goodies Ironbut!! All favorites of mine. If you get a chance... could you show us a pic?

The bowl is a redwood burl that my wife had sitting around collecting dust, so I put it to use. Current occupants are:
A needle oiler, 2 Churchills & 2 66s, the rest are SS because of the humid Summers around here; Northwoods stockman, Cripple Creek Barlow, Robeson Barlow & a Case Tribal Lock.

I never keep my knives in a pile . I keep them in cases or drawers that are handy to select from and keep them out of the light to keep the colors stable . Just a couple of older photos to give you an example . The drawer , first photo , has only Northfields in it and is now full .

I also have a few knives in my garage close to my work area that are also stored in a drawer .

You're welcome, sparrow, and thank you for the compliment. Here are a couple more.

Just felt like having them nearby. Let's see which ones you have out for the day!
Traditional groups of any size for any reason. Have a great day all!

Fun group to start the day. Nice variety of handle covers too.

These 5 typically sit on top of my knife case. The Case and one of the fixed blades have been carried most often lately. My Peanut isn't pictured because it's always in my pocket. :D

That Craftsman Barlow looks awesome Shawn! :) Is that actually bone or a synthetic?

Thanks, Kevin! It's recovered in Amber Jigged Bone by the impressively talented glennbad glennbad .

Shawn that is so utterly spectacular. Every time you post this knife I am amazed by it's beauty. The jigging leaves me speechless (well, almost). glennbad glennbad showed his incredible skill and artistic abilities in spades.

So I have piles o_O

Pile 1 is the "Inbox / Picture Queue / Needs Cleaning" Pile... these knives will have a busy couple weeks ;)

PILE-1.JPG

Pile 2 is the "Post Lube Runoff" Pile which is on my desk keyboard tray... this is where the snap comes back :)

PILE-2.JPG

Pile 3 is the "Lubed / Wiped / Ready For Storage" Pile... these stay there the longest cuz I always just want to keep looking at them. That area is getting full so it may be time to put the coke bottles away

PILE-3.JPG

Pile 4 I really can't explain how they randomly got placed there... 4 need to be photographed, 3 need to be put away and the last one I want to take apart since the celluloid wrap fell off of it. These will probably randomly stay there for a few more weeks along with other knives being placed there :D
