GT, you're going to start a new carry trend! People are going to think we're on our way to the local pool with floaties on, but then they'll see two dozen trads strapped to our arms!

This is what's been out and about for grabbin', lately.

Work Pile. I'm choosing a pair for today, one in the watch pocket and one in a slip.
Our maintenance man at work is also a knife knut. He will bring in his new moderns to show me and I bring in my new traditionals to show him. Although we are in different camps as far as knife carry, we both can appreciate the beauty and quality of all knives. I'd been telling him about the Pony and Harness Jacks, so one of them is getting the nod for today.

This page is showing some really great piles!! Thanks Ickythump, Will, Glenn, JD, I've enjoyed seeing them all.

When it's time to photograph my desk pile it's carried outside for better lighting. I've had a tray in mind to help with that but now Don W's "Mug Boss" may be just the ticket.:)

Being Wednesday I thought an all wood pile would be appropriate for the day.

BTW, I love all the actual "Desk Piles" but I think this thread should welcome any and all groups so I changed the title to simply "Today's Pile", making it more generic.

The new and improved "Today's Piles" is now open to all piles, groups, accumulations, assemblages, clusters and collections of traditional knives. :)

Found one on the Bay and it's coming my way :D
I look forward to seeing your Falcon perched on your forearm once it comes home to roost, John! ;)

Shawn, I'm usually just a silent grinner, but your post, and the mental images it evoked, made me laugh out loud!:p:D
(And that made the dog sleeping on the bench next to me get up and search out a quieter and safer place to nap.)

I don't have much time in the morning so I do my knife admiring in the evenings after the kids are in the bed. Used to have a bigger recliner table but my wife said I kept it to junked up and now I only have this little round one.

Checking out some of my 61s tonight, been carrying the stag version this week.

Nice! I do the same thing. Last night I just put my new Mug Buddy/Knife Caddy next to me recliner and was pulling knives out all evening. You have a nice assortment of #61s.
