Small Pile of BF Annuals - 2014-2018 with room on the right for the 2019

A Barehead Sailors Knife should fit in quite nicely there.

Very nice handful of barlows Wayne . Is the Jigged Bone some Culpepper bone ? The Stag also looks intriguing .

Harry
Thank you. In each case I asked Glenn to pick the material he preferred to use. He chose ebony, smooth white bone, the stag, jigged bone and even some mammoth ivory. I had seen the jigged bone only once before on an old Craftsman Barlow he had modified and I asked him to put it on the old Western if he had some more but I’m not sure what specific type he used. He did a great job and I carry one of them often.

Fine dump there :D Got a particular favourite amongst them?
Ya know Will, I do almost always have a favorite... but it changes day to day. I can tell you that last year was the only year I bought two. I liked the two bladed Buck 301 that much when ordering and it's still the most carried. Guess my favorite must be the 2018 Buck in Elk, today. ;)

"The Pocket Pile"
Called that because for the last few weeks, whenever I was staying home for the day, these three have been together dominating my pockets almost constantly. When going out, one of them has to be left behind because I need the pocket space for other things.:)
Yeah... I'm a knife nut. o_O:confused::D

Considering those Red Trout knives are gone, you don’t see many of them posted here. They’re a good looking knife:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks I agree they are good looking. The Boy's Knife was also made by Canal St. Cutlery which are seen from time to time and could someday be made again.

Taking a look back to the top of this page I realized what an outstanding page it is. I strongly like each and every pic posted and agreed with almost every word. :cool:;)

These three are sitting on my desk and waiting to be rotated into my pocket...
My friend @5K Qs has a strict rotation schedule, mine is much more fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants.
I set out two, three, or more knives each day and then rotate them into my pocket as the mood strikes me.
There is always a Lambsfoot or two, but the others are more random. The Cadet and the Baby Bullet are both worthy competitors.

This pile today is a remembrance pile, my Brother passed away right before Thanksgiving and he was the most avid hunter and fisherman I knew. We enjoyed annual hunting trips since we were both teens until now. We always swapped knives, guns and gear. At Christmas time his daughter handed me a box of knives and told me to take want I wanted. I only took the knives that meant something to the both of us, of these knives all but one will be handed down to my kids and grandkids. The one that I will keep is the Buck 120, this knife had been shared by us for quit a few years, he took on bear hunts and I took it to Alaska twice for moose. My brother always had 1 or 2 extra knives on him and if he meet up with youth Hunter out in the woods he would gift them a knife and tell them they needed to get off to a good start with a good knife. The rest of the box of knives are being donated to scout troops in his area.
