The desk pile has gotten a bit larger than usual...

gonna have to put a few away :eek: but which ones??? :confused:
And even if I can figure it out, how long will they stay put away? o_O
Yeah, I like 'em that much. ;):D

I keep mine in a wooden bowl (See page 2, post 22), on top of one of the gun safes. When it gets full, I put a bunch away, but soon the same ones end up back in the bowl again.

I think it would help immensely to balance things out if you just got rid of that Red Trout, it just doesn’t seem to belong:rolleyes: If you need help with that I suppose I could probably lend a neighborly hand;)

Jim, very kind of you to point out the imbalance, I don't know how I missed it.;) Now that I'm aware of the situation I'll try to rectify it by adding an additional Red Trout Boy's Knife to the pile. Then I won't have to impose upon you. If that doesn't solve the problem I may then take you up on your generous offer if it is still available. Thank you for your help and concern, :thumbsup::thumbsup: -James
 
Good to know John. A larger portfolio is for me a far more desirable solution than burdening a fellow knife nut with taking the offending Boys Knife into his or her collection. ;):)
 
Here’s a newly rediscovered pile. I was cleaning up my shop and finally opened up the ammo can that I am constantly kicking when sitting at my bench. I had completely forgotten this stash of “ just needs some love” knives I’ve bought over the years thinking someday I’d learn to be a knife mechanic and bring them back to useful life...View attachment 1353910

I’m starting to think I need to lock my old 301 in a safe or something before it too gets assimilated...
