You have 2 in that nice pile that really catch my eye . The ones at 4 & 10 o'clock .

Harry

Thanks Harry! The 0400 is a 3 5/8” Ken Erickson stockman that has been in about 43/50 of the U.S.states. The 1000 is a 3 1/4” Ryu K trapper that is a smaller version of the old 4 line trapper. Both wonderful knives by great makers.

Thanks Duane : That is a lot of traveling for your Erickson . He does make a great knife and I wish that I could have had him make me a Lambfoot . When I talked with him at the Badger Blade Show a couple of years ago , he was not taking orders .

I started collecting GECs in august, and this is what I have been able to put together. Very hard and expensive since I’m located in Europe. I have two on their way by airmail, a 66 in Oily Creek Bone and a 92 in OD Green Micarta.

That's an impressive pile of GECs especially in such a fairly short time span.:thumbsup: I look forward to seeing the oily creek 66. :)

It's been a while since I've posted my "User Drawer", it doesn't change too much. ;)
These represent my most often pocketed knives. I keep them handy so I can quickly rotate when I feel the need.
Will and John, I missed both these post somehow, sorry.:( I blame covid!:rolleyes:
But am I ever glad I discovered them today. Both post are loaded with the most desirable cutlery... anywhere ever!! Will that horn and John that Case dogleg WOW!!!:thumbsup: :cool::cool:
I don't know how you can possibly choose between them!
Really glad it's you guys that have them, I'm just thrilled to see 'em.

redsparrow redsparrow Very nice of you to say so. As John implies, it's good to rotate and the stellar thing about Traditionals is that they offer a true wealth of patterns, materials and blade types. Which is why I can never really understand why a few people just want to carry one knife or get fixated on just one type of blade all the time. Or have some rigid plan of carry... Why reduce yourself to boring routine when you don't have to??;):D

This year's Forum Knife has really pleased me and I view it as a long haul (but not sole carry ;)) pattern for the future. Quality endures

Will, I have a Case Swayback Jack it's a great size and an excellent EDC. I also love our 2020 Forum Viper. Those two wonderful knives combined with the other swaybacks in your pic makes that post... almost delicious looking!!! Like a fine four course meal all laid out at the same time for a visual feast.:thumbsup:
