Bringing this one back up for some air, and an update on my "pile".
Here's my 2018 post.

Not a pile but I have whittled my choice, on most days, to one of these.
Of course there's always another slipjoint and either an OHO or fixed blade.

You'll notice that some of the 2018 knives are still in my favorites, shown below. I've added to my pile and included the fixed blades I usually choose from.
