Here is the Tac 1. It is 1095 steel with a nice clay coated hamon, that I tried to show in the pics.

The handle is called Ifilele. It is a samoan ironwood. It has a nice look to it, and I kind of like working with it.

The spine is file patterned to the distal taper.

I have a picture of it in my hand for an accurate idea of the dimensions. It is hard to tell sometimes, even with a ruler in the picture.

Price - $160 without a sheath - OR - $170 with a kydex sheath (I havent made a sheath for this one yet) Shipping is included on both of the prices.

Thanks!

Texas, this one is yours. Thanks for the speedy reply. I will send you my address, but you need to unlock your email, or at least send it to me.

Yahoo! I sent an email your way and I think I fixed the email thing too. Must have missed it when I signed up on this forum. This is the sixth knife I've bought since I signed up but the FIRST one I've managed to be fast enough to buy here.

Adios!

2 minutes? Wow, that was fast. Not surprising, since it's a really nice knife, but fast. Nice snag!

Wow Matt, another stunning knife. Photos look great too. Did you get the email I sent you?

Hey Matt, a MO is on the way via Priority Mail. You should have it in two or three days. Can't wait for this one!

I will send it out the same day as I get your money order, hope you like it

Tedwca, I used some of your suggestions about light placement, and it made all the difference. I still have a lot of work to do, but you have helped me quite a bit. To all other forum members, Tedwca is a whiz with the camera. Check out some of his pics.

One day I have to get you to make me one of these TAC's that is one of my favorite designs. Well done

I received this knife today and couldn't be happier. It's stout but feels light and quick. It's a real looker to boot! I can't wait to make a nice sheath for this baby and put it to work.

Thanks Matt!
