I am still looking for an original. I saw one in a collection in Finland, and had Pekka Tuominen make me a reproduction. He was able to take accurate measurements from the original, and it is very nice. John

Excellent! I still did not give up hope to find the original and I finally got lucky. Pekka is a wonderful master, he made me a replica of Peltonen's first knife, Peltonen gave him his knife at my request.

I like your collection of Finnish Puukkopistin m1919 (pic 1608) I think the sword knot to the low left is usually worn on the big Civil Guard knife. This could be a Civil Guard members puukkopistin.

Yes thank you I know but the subject came to me with this sword knot. When I will take photos of the knives for my next book I'll tie a knot on my M27.
