Tactical Hawk Comparison Old vs New

I went with a JK knives Cassam hawk. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/947448-The-Cassam-Tactical-Hawk!?highlight=cassam

Seems more economical, versus the wrinkler.

I've never heard of a "WRinkler", what's that hawk look like?:D Sure is more economical, I almost ordered one of these when I first saw it. I had just placed an order for my Sayoc, so I could not order both. I'd love to see a side by side comparison of the two, the Cassam vs. Sayoc. There is a big difference in price and in weight. For the price, that Cassam sure is tempting. Some guys wouldn't mind the extra 10oz, just depends on what you want to do with the hawk.

Couldn't see a price? How much is the Cassam?

about 300. Not to mention you can further customize it. My handles are going to be thinner, which should reduce weight a bit.

Ah okay, so still semi expensive. But it looks great!!! And nice with customization options, that's always good.

New "Stealth"

4 7/8"" from edge to spike and 8" overall. I don't have one on hand to weigh but it is the lightest yet.

I know this is an age old post of yours Winkler, but I recently ordered a Stealth from one of your European dealers and while looking at google pictures I was directed here by mere coincidence. Then I saw that here you say the overall length is 8", but your website says 9". Which one is correct? Just out of curiosity. I will have my own soon hopefully, so I can answer the question myself at that time if you don't see this.

Cheers.

Senserazer: My stealth hawk is 8 1/2" long. You will not be disappointed when you receive yours!

ETA: Here is a link to JayGoliath's really well-done review of the Winkler Combat Axe:

You have no idea how much I'm looking forward to receiving it!!! :D
I already read that review, and any other Winkler axe review I could find :P Havn't found any real Stealth Axe reviews yet though? :s

Just a thought....the end of the handle could cause some harm to the users hand or wrist....maybe round the ends off a little?? Looks like it would be well balanced.
