i cant decide weather it is tactilol or not cause the mall ninja in my head keeps roundhouse kicking my brain and scream BUY IT! BUY IT! but c'mon i would have to buy the two handed version cause here in germany it is illeagel since 2008 to carry a one handed blade, autos, AOs, or fixed blades longer than 12cm/4,7in :( and a one handed knife like this and that stupid lanyard thingy makes it a bit tactilol for me :)

It is indeed real, and well made (not even close to a zip gun). Double action only .22 LR revolver. They are classified by BATF as "AOW" disguised firearms and require registration. I've seen them selling for about $800. Much cooler than a ballistic knife. Safer and far more useful. Ballistic knife is basically nothing more than a pocket sized speargun.
 
Perhaps the grandfather of all nerd death devices? This Viennese "thing" is from the early 1500's.

Note the skull crusher pomel, tanto and serrations...all standard issue for tacticlol knives. This one however seems to have a trigger of some sorts & it comes in the BALLISTIC nylon sheath incase you need to throw the whole package at your adversary.
 
You guys are really coming up with some wild stuff! I want the revolver knife. That's a "tactical" knife for real. Just imagine - true self defense - you shoot the bad guy 5 or 6 times (in self defense of course) and then you can knife him (in self defense of course) without worrying about getting cut.

Ya just have to watch out for those pesky bat-a-rangs which might come around from behind and bust you in the head when yer not looking. :D

Ka-Bar's Zombie Killer Line is out at Knife Center and a few other well known retailers. $49 buys a lot of peace of mind. Pity they don't come with a top hat! ;)

Perhaps you should have read the whole thread? Some of us discuss that we owned several of them (and in some cases still do)...I also wore parachute pants once...doesn't mean I am going to NOT laugh my butt off about how ridiculous they look now! Jeesh!

Somehow, when I ponder what a true "galactic warrior" would carry, I do not see this. I mean, wouldn't you go for something in a nice laser gun, or a light saber if you were going to be a galactic warrior??

What is sad is that I know a couple friends who own and buy into this stuff...It makes me reconsider why I'm friends with them sometimes.
