Indeed.
I looked at that thing for about 2 minutes trying to figure out how that thing was held (and then I gave up and scrolled down and saw the second pic).

It looks quite comfortable to use. It's also very unobtrusive.

Will it make me look like "Wolverine" √
Can it accommodate my chubby little arm √
Does it come with a sheath made of the finest imported simulated leather-like vinyl √
Is a skull tastefully embossed on the sheath √

Winner!

#1 On my Christmas list! Been lacking the perfect blade for my gear load out.:D

Pudgy little shit. He better drop a few pounds before trying to enlist in the military. :D

Wow, not much love for the Spyderco Civilian!! Lol. I use it and other hawkbills all the time at work (rigging, etc.) and it works like a charm. To each his/her own I guess.

What are your referring to Choke? The Civilian is badass. I wish I could afford one. Only thing I don't like about it is the blade shape, with it closed in the handle, makes for a huge package. How does it feel in your pocket?

Had to necro this thread. Found others.

Google search for "MX8054", an Mtech knife that looks like the bastard love child of a Tanto and a Tom Brown Tracker.

And also, "Au Fil de la Lame", a French company which has taken the Tracker to new, and more exciting, places!

I might be stupid but that Mtech doesn't bother me. I could see it as a camp knife or leave it in my fishen bag.

(I thought the Mtech knife was kind of neat looking, too). But I also think it's trying to do too many things at once.

It's the combination of black blade and furnishings, and the number of different angles that go into shaping it that make me say "tacticlol". If I might be so bold as to coin a phrase, it's the "Tracker knife syndrome", defined as "the attempt to create a knife which performs as many tasks as possible by having a dedicated cutting surface for each task."

this is authentic ninja equipment

Have to confess that the looks of this got me and I had to get one... Turns out I rather like it! Solid, heavy, and the handle is nicely ergonomic for carpal-tunneled hands and wrists. In pictures the handle looks big and clunky, but it is not. Shaved my arm out of the box. Figure it can be a beater for yard work, might make a good mini-chopper.

My other knives are Ka-bars, so I know what's good. <g>
