$200+ for this?

I love you.
to be honest i do have a military friend to loves and uses this knife quite a lot when he camps. he does have other high end knives but likes this one
People generally like to defend their investments, even if it wasn't a sound choice (especially $200+). F&F seems poor from looking at the spine notches alone and the knife overall looks like a pain to sharpen. Probably weighs more than it needs to be for its size, and that notch on the joint edges looks like an identity crisis. I can't see how that would function well.
I'm glad your friend has other high end knives.
I myself have bought gimmick tacticlol knives and defended it for a good minute, then finally reached the age of reason. Not trying to diss your friend, as preferences are subjective.
Not really tacticool but too good to ignore:

"combat proven combat profile for combat"
Another bad idea from your pals at mantis:

That's not tactilol, just ugly![]()

^This
Too small to be useful (two finger knife), clip it on and skunk up your guns balance, rip up your clothes when holstering that gun.
In short, tacticlol for 40 USD.
What is wrong with a basic knife? I know that most of the Ka-Bars and Beckers don't look as cool as Dark ops or Mantis FWIW give me a plain Ka-Bar over any of the stuff pictured. A couple of years ago I saw a Dark Ops break by a civilian trying open a wooden crate in Iraq. Was LMAO.
How did we manage in WW1, WW2, Korea and Nam without all of these super cool tacticals?![]()
