Tactile turn copper pen (Sold)

Hi all, I purchased this pen a couple of weeks ago and is brand new in the box. Its a beautifully made pen but it has a tiny groove design for a better grip, unfortunately for me that feel of the tiny grooves is like fingernails on a chalkboard. I have always had this problem with this kind of surface but didn't realize the pen had it when purchased I thought it was a smooth copper finish. I guess in the name tactile should've gave me a hint. I paid total $101 and would take $sold shipped. Thanks!
Edit: forgot to mention this is the middle size called the short at 5.1 inches. Added a pic for reference.
