I bought a knife from an individual on this forum. I mailed a MO 5-19-01. I have not heard from this individual, even after repeated emails, about whether or not he has shipped the knife, or even received the money order. How long should one wait with no contact before assuming theyve been ripped. Im hesitant to post the individual's name yet, because he may be a good guy whos just really busy, but still youd think anyone could answer an email in a week

Hi Brandon... I would give it one more week. He might be on vacation, or just out of town. all though, He should have mentioned to you if he was going to be gone. That would have been the right thing to do. Another thing is, you can put his e-mail address on your buddy list, and if he logs on you will know. That will only work if you have that capability. Like I said though Brandon, give it another week, and if you still get no answer... Well, good luck!

I think that giving him another week is about as generous as you should be. The fact that he has not responded to your emails is a more worrying aspect of this whole thing. You never know though, he may have a good reason.

Do you have his phone number, and have you tried to call.

Good luck, I hope things work out for the best.

Situation resolved. An email was sent that i never got, or somehow missed, that would have prevented this whole situation.

Hey Brandon, you are a great guy for handling this so well. Your post here was excellent, and we should all take note that this is how it should be done.
Best regards,
Clayton
