I'm confused and curious. In the pic, is the knife open, half-open, or what? In its pictured position it is a true double-edged blade, meaning that it will cut (you the owner) both ways.

Assuming you mean the knife in post #1 , best is to watch the video there . It's a specialist fighting knife for P'Kal "ripping " .

The TS348 opens past the normal 180 degrees, by another 45 or so .

It's SE only on the concave inner curve .
