Talk me out of a new mini-grip 556-1 (or into)

Bladeplay, centering, and bad grinds have been my issues with BM. I still own plenty of them though, never buy them but I'll trade for them if the deal is right because they are very solid knives.
I've had bad heat treats as well as those issues.

I have my Ritter Mini Grip coming in Tomorrow. Orange scales so I can see it where ever it is I may drop it. Interested in custom grips though. Looking for a pair with spool spacers instead of that hideous long back spacer. And being a southpaw, for the clip, I would like it drilled and tapped for lefty only. I like an open build. Of course this voids the warranty of the knife though. So one has to take that into consideration.

That is what I would talk you into buying. The tall, flat ground, slicing grind is what I like, and the M-390 is premium.

I love my Ritter mini-Grip with custom scales. It is a beautiful and well made knife. What I like about mini-Grips is their small size and ability to customize the scales.
