The only knives that I have sold and then had sellers remorse over were ones that caused the remorse immediately (like my 940).
Anything that takes you a year to miss shows that you might be hard pressed to day why Really liked it, or you would have to warm back up to it.
I loved my 940, and I plan on buying another, but I had to all it to fund a sebenza made on my only childs birthday.
The 940 will be there, but the seb would have sold. I was the first of 3 to jump on it.

Sell the 940 and the Techno and buy a 940-1 or a 940-1501.
If you don't take to the upgraded model, whichever you go with, you could always sell that and buy a normal 940.
