Nice fake stag on this one.

If this was English I would call it a 'Pub' knife, beer bottle opener, wine corkscrew. But, since it is NYC will just say 'Bar' knife.

Will, this is the tang stamp of Richartz, Solingen. I have such a nice knife, too. These tangstamps are extremely neat :)

On a Wostenholm electricians knife...the Broad Arrow mark signifying British Government Property.

I recently purchased a stockman with an unusual tang stamp and posted photos with a back story about. One of our own, Wll Power, suggested maybe someone should start a thread about tang stamps. So here we go. If you have a tang stamp you want to show off share it here. Old, new, unusual or just plain I'd like to see it with a little insight as to what you know about it. I'll go first. This is from what I've been able to find out a SFO from Queen by a Bob White. Hence the quail stamp on each blade.

While not very interesting, it is the tang stamp of one of the greatest knife makers, and I find Tom's mechanics to be the finest of any slip joint maker.
