It is a matte finish as opposed to shiny (satin).

Holy crap!! I went to site and was considering options then I had a drink. Now I want to know if I get a discount for buying one of each option? Also do you take arms, legs, first borns, or future income as payment?

i'm new to busse knives. i know they only put them up for a limited time and i decided to get a tank buster. just wont have the cash for about a month. how much longer are they going to stay up ?

They don't charge your card until 7-14 days before shipment, current wait time is 6-14 weeks

The lead time is at least a month long, but Amy-0 will post in this forum generally 48-72 hours before a knife is pulled to let us know it's going, going...

now i'm going to have to figure out where to get a sheath made for that tankbuster. those 2 bumps in the spine might make it tough.

Yippie! I have my first Busse on order!
Thanks in particular to my Mom, the most wonderful person I know, who placed the order as a birthday gift. Hopefully they will be done in time to ship out before October.

I've been on the fence with various Busse models before, but this one finally pushed me over. The overall package is just right. 6" blade, convex edge, relatively flat spine (keeping the tip nice and high up, giving lots of belly), no recurve, and, the biggest selling point was the option to not have a choil. Those things have always been a turn off for me. Finally you can get your knife without it, giving you the maximum amount of of sharp stuff possible on the blade.

Mine will be arctic white with black and tan G-10 handle scales, which should be very fashionable in the snow.
October can't come soon enough.
