Tank Buster Specs & Options. . . . YOWZA!!!

Whoaa...so many options !
Boss Hog, with all the combos available for combat grade, then I can get all the features of an LE in a CG except for the tigerhide micarta?
Am I getting it correct?

By Jove, I think he's got it.

Pardon my ignorance, what's a "swedge"?

A bevel along the forward edge of the spine.

Wow.

BTW, it would be nice if grown men could refrain from talking about their bodily fluids whenever a new knife is discussed.

My wife wants to know when your going to add Pink to your color options... As well as Yellow... Did you see the Pink and white Ar-15 with the Kitty on it?
Actually, I'm curious on the Green black handle option. The one shown in the above pics is completely different that my Sjtac Green black handle, much more bright green on this one and different cut design.

You don't mean my photochopped picture do you? :o

Machined Magnum Blaze Orange G-10 would be REALLY nice. :D

Oh yeah.... I would LOVE to see Blaze Orange G10 as a regular handle option on pretty much all Busse offerings.

I wonder, is the Red G10 being offered this time like the Santa's Outlaw?

I'm not too into the orange/blk G10 .. but I would love a blaze orange g10 tankbuster!!! :thumbup::thumbup:

Jerry, how hard would it be to add a solid orange to the mix ??:D

It just means that Garth would need more Cabo. Not hard at all.

Anybody have an idea what the width of the tankbuster blade. 1-1/2"? 2"? some where in that range?

help a busse virgin join the club
could someone please explain what the difference is between satin and double cut
is satin just polished steel or is it coated
also is magnum handle larger in length or girth or both
thanks

Satin is bare metal, not polished to a mirror though, there are very fine grind lines vertically (blade edge to spine) - hence 'satin'. It's my favourite finish but does tend to show scratches more prominently along the blade length due to the vertical satin grind. That might be an issue if you keep it in a tight kydex sheath which will trap small grit particles against the blade causing a lot of scratching. No problem on a user though.

Double cut is a bead blasted, matte effect finish. Again bare metal. Great user finish but some say it can rust more easily due to more surface area in the 'pits' from the shot blasting. A wipe with tuff-cloth would stop that though.

So neither are coated.

Magnum handles are not longer. They are thicker and sometimes more 'sculpted', with a bigger palm swell etc. On this knife though I think they are just thicker and still quite flat on the sides. That has yet to be confirmed.
