I purchased a GB Forest Axe a while ago(7-9-08)...it hasnt shown...after close to 2 weeks after the purchase was made...I was told that Tods brother didnt ship it for him...this is a lame excuse..if you cant ship something, then dont sell it!!!??? I was then promised that it was on its way..or he would make it right? This statement is what worries me...how about just getting me my axe..or maybe answering my emails. Its on 3 weeks now? More than enough time has passed..I just want a refund. I have no answers via email..its a real shame, as he seemed like a great guy, but I am through fooling around. This is BS, and there is no excuse. I want a refund, right now.

THE AXE HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!!!! THE additional delay6 was due totally on UPS..and I delt with them directly. Tod has come thru for me...it took a bit, but all is well, and we are buds in my book. I would not hesitate to deal with him again, I know that this was a rare thing. Gene

I have never had a problem with him. Sometimes glitches happen. I am sure he will respond and get it squared away.
 
I realise that he is a "good guy" I have known him since I joined Bladeforums...the fact remains that he is treating me badly during this deal, and I am making it known. He has stated that he is working away from home in his last email, on the 23 of July..a fact that he never mentioned in the begining of our deal, or on his GB for sale thread...I sent him money within 20 minutes of saying "ill take it" and now I have to wait a month??? Sorry, but deals like this are what the feedback thread is all about. Gene

Gene, I'm very sorry for whats happened. I have no idea where the axe it because when it was sent for me he didn't send it with D/C. Anyway, I will have a FULL REFUND TO YOU ASAP. I need to transfer the $$$ from my bank to my paypal account and that can take a couple days.

I will take care of you Gene, you have my word. As far as the no response to email. I'm working out of state and busy as hell. I just didn't get to my gmail account.

If the axe happens to show up, I know I can trust you to tell me and then pay me back.

My deal with him was flawless as well, sorry bout youre deal gene, Sounds like he is making it right though.....
 
The crappy part is I'm out the axe, and the $$$. I have no problem giving back your $$$ Gene, I would never do that to someone. Any idea what options I have from USPS????

BTW Gene...... I should have waited to sell the axe when I was back in town. My fault to be sure. Sorry Bro.........

Tod and I are dealing with the particulars via email. Tod, as far as the PO is concerned..they are complete assbags in the customer service department...I think that they actaully like to hear you complain..almost like it is the lifeblood they survive on...I would tell you to chew some butt..but all it will do is raise your bloodpressure..and accomplish nothing. I always put that green tag for tracking and the black or blue tag for insurance...sometimes I drop the insurance on small items that I could replace without to much pain and suffering.
I am mostly just sorry that Tod is out the money and I am out an Axe...I really am bummed about not getting that Axe...Gene

Email replied do Gene. Expect the full refund by no later than Aug 7th. Though it best to publicly display this as well.
 
I wouldn't give up on that axe just yet Gene. I had a package show up recently that had been in transit for almost a month. Sometimes things get misdirected and then eventually find the way to where they are supposed to be. Good luck:D
 
HOW do I delete the thumb down on the title...it sends to strong a message ..
 
I've amended the thread as requested and also taken out some of the wording in the thread title (as this matter has been resolved amicably and there's no need for good people's reps to be tarnished unnecessarily).
