Tdhurl1103 says I need a Becker BK2

Yessir, like I always say, we are here for you brother. To comfort, encourage, and enable you.

The fellow addict will always help to support the addict's addiction :hopelessness: :devilish:

I am still over due for a trip to GP Knives... I don't know if they will have a BK4 there or not. Would be nice to hold one. I still think I will need a BK7... and a BK2. The BK2 will most likely be last unless the BK7 is not going anywhere anytime soon.

And the mods... oh the mods. Grivory just sounds awful. G10 sounds soooo much better.

Like I stated before though, this is all based on the BK9 meeting my expectations. I am hoping that all I have read and seen on the Becker knives is not hype... cuz that would not be cool man lol.

I am at work at the moment. I will be talking to my buddy after work to see if his orders came in today. If they did... all hail the king!

The King has entered the building!

Had to work late. Stopped by my friend's shop and grabbed it. Just got home and haven't taken it out of the box yet. Gotta busy day tomorrow so I probably won't get around to it until later. I have to work this weekend too so probably won't get a chance to play with it for a while.

However.....

at long last.....

I have it!!! :D

ORLY?! You had time to post. You had time to eat/sleep/shower/shave/eat/poop/dress but no time to open a box?! A box with the King in it?! pffft!

You have a nerves of steel, man!

It is easy to post because I have a smart phone. I can post to a thread while I am laying in bed.

And yes... I hate to admit this... especially here on this forum... as it is probably a sacrilege... but sometimes there are other things in life that are more important than knives.

I did however remove the King from the box last night before bed. I had too. I didn't even look at the sheath, but I had to see the knife. I don't have words to describe it completely. All I could think to say is "Damn! That is a big ass knife! I wonder if I can legally carry this?".

I will say that I am not completely sure about the handles.

I am anxious to chop, cut, and hack some stuff up. I really feel the need to beat the ever lovin' snot out of this knife.

Pictures coming soon......

Gah, I fall asleep in the recliner with knives in my hand, lap and at my feet. ESP when I get a new one lol. When I do make it to bed, its probably sheathed, but always multiple blades within reach in various states of sheathed, partial sheathed, an unsheathed lol.

This is awesome!!

That is funny.....

but what isn't funny....

Is that no one bothered to tell me that I am going to have to buy a BK13 to go into the sheath with my BK9!!! ;)

Apparently the King must be accompanied by a pawn at all times. Go figure?

I still haven't gotten a chance to use my BK9 yet, but I hopefully will not have to work this weekend so I may actually get an opportunity to get outside and have some fun!!!

Yeah, sorry bout that TM. I forgot about the little pocket on the stock sheath.

I've been rocking this setup since forever now, so.....

every modern knife collector and fan does indeed need to have a BK2 as one of the staples of any collection it is just that damn good
