Tea Kettle Cozy

Nice work! I have been eyeing that kettle for a couple months now....how do you like it??? Pros/Cons???

Good set-up and useful kettle. Exactly what is it made from? I use an aluminium one but I find it flavours the water somewhat, tried a stainless one but it's too heavy and it takes much longer to boil due to the thickness.

It is anodized aluminum. I don't know if the anodizing would help the taste or not. I have never been a huge aluminum fan, but it is for the backpack. I have used it a couple times, and don't seem to have any added taste. However, I must admit, that I am not extremely picky (or observant) when it comes to that :D

Yes, alloy is really good or day pack use where keeping weight or bulk down is a must.Just wish they made SQUARE kettles to get into the corners of a pack!
