Team Gemini Dagger thread, let's get this done!

6.5 to 7.5" in length, 0.25" stock, 1.5 to 1.8" wide. I would love to see a the rounded plunge cuts from the older A2 Steel Hearts with a fuller starting where they meet. There could be double talon holes either like the Battle Shark or rounded like the NM treatment. To me, that Battle Shark handle just screams out to be a dagger. Hollow grind.

It would be cool if it were also balanced to be a throwing knife too. He he, just dreaming.

BTTT...come on guys, I can't keep it going by myself! We have to keep it on Jerry's daily radar! It is hard enough for him to read anything with all that scotch drinking:p

I was thinking the CA legal AA would still have the same grinds. It just didn't call my name without at least a false edge on the top.

Can't belive more are not calling for this one, especially knowing that Jerry seems to be interested.

Yea, that is what I am saying! What knife lover wouldn't love a Busse design as awesome as the Team Gemini combined with a dagger?!? If and when this happens I may have to purchase more than one...

There is nothing more i would love to see/get than a Busse Dagger, but I was more under impression that this is already happening, and that we dont need to remind boss everyday, he made it sound like He's on board with this.
Was I wrong ?

We can't take any risks MtnMan.....after all, this is Busse we are talking about and the dreaded eternity known as "two weeks" where Jerry might forget!

Look how long people have been waiting for the folder......I want to see the Team Gemini Dagger sometime before I die.

Back to the top with thee!!! Jerry...please please please give us another sign! This is going to happen by the end of the year right?!?:)

I would love a infi dagger, I'd say a little longer than the TG, maybe an inch. But should be lighter than the TG (even tglb), so thrusting would be easier.
SATIN!
No serrations please.

Double edge, straight handled, TG Crusader at 1/8" steel with extended fuller and deep hollow grind with LB handle treatment.

I enjoy every BUSSE blade I ever owned but never once have I even considered using any knife to pry with. Completely unnecessary abuse when considering the speed loss towards cutting when accommodating the ability to pry with by thickening up the blade. Plus INFI has been listed to bend at 35 degrees and spring back to true. A blade made by this material at a 1/8" thick should be capable enough for any responsible knife users out there.
But I am aware that most people prefer a thicker blade for some reason and it makes sense for some designs. But the TGLB's that I have owned have lacked the cutting ability I know INFI can provide due the the 1/4" steal. Great for chops, not so much for woods-crafting. I hope to see more blade thickness options for users such as myself who requires that speed from thinner stocks.

^^^I would be down for this. Minus the dumb pointy bits on the double guard:rolleyes: And extend the blade length out to 9"! For extra stabby reach:D At 1/8" thick can you imagine how sharp you could get that thing?!? YOWZA!!!

Thickness is ok at 1/8" for me, but I'd still like the 3/16" minimum. Can you imagint a fuller groove on 1/8"? This is why I like 1/4" so much, the groove is deeper/larger.

And as far as the points protrusions, I don't want to really see those either, this is why I am in favor of the Nuclear Meltdown treatment. Keep it smooth and elegant.

Light brigade treatment is a clear winner here, to make it light and nimble in hand.

Length I guess doesn't truly matter as long as we are 6"-10" range, I could be happy with anything in between. Of course if Jerry wanted to make a set of them and offer a 4"-5" version and a 7"-8" version I would not complain a bit and I am sure he would sell every last one he made in under a week.

Handle style is a tough one here, I still love the TGLB handle and if it were straightened to accommodate the dagger, I think this would be my absolute 1st choice. However if it came with a coffin handle I would certianly still purchase them.

Steel is a mandatory Infi here, no BG option here please. This dagger needs to be elitist, and the lowest grade option should be CG. Anyone with me on this? I am thinking I would want the set in satin on a long flat to the edge and competetion finish in and around the fuller to give it a medieval look.

Handle materials, the normal stuff.....and some sick new mistake of a batch of micarta or g10.

Honestly I think we all have a lot of wants, but let's get serious here. Any dagger coming out of the shop in the near future, I am almost without hesitation going to buy it. (Just don't tell Jerry).

^^^I certainly agree Firestrike! You are right, at 1/8" thick, it would be nearly impossible to get the fuller in there on each side and the fuller is a MUST for the TG Dagger! I think the TG handle is the way to go, just straighten it out. Yea 6"-9" is the sweet spot for a dagger but I HATE the coffin handle honestly, I think it just looks cheap, but that's just my opinion:) Like you said, I won't be able to resist any dagger that Jerry puts out! INFI!!!!!

Straight TG handle. No more than 3/16" thick. A fuller could still be included at that thickness, just not very deep. Nor would it need to be at that thickness. I personally would prefer the points, like the crusader models. But no more than that. Length doesn't matter, as long as it is somewhere between 5" and 3'. :D

Wouldn't particularly care about the steel, either. Prefer NOT satin INFI, though. That would put it right out of my price range.

I think the Boss will ignore these requests, and just design something He likes. Because either way, one half of hogs will end up Dissapointed (for a lack of a better word).
Reading thru the posts, seems like everyone wants something opposite of another. I guess cant make everyone happy.
