Holy crap, I'm salivating over here! That looks even better than it did when I saw it in my dreams last night! I can't wait to get this baby in my hands, it looks exactly to the specs I sent you. You are a true master of your craft JK!

To all: the handle design most certainly was heavily inspired by winkler. I don't know how the knife game works, but i never intended it to be an exact copy and mean the man no disrespect - I took some qualities I liked from at least half a dozen hawks, but yes D. Winkler had a heavy inspiration in this. I will not deny that and would like to give credit to the man. All of the other aspects of the hawk were tweaked and "designed" (if I can even use that term in the knife making world as a non maker) by me! Jk has been kind enough to bring it to life for me!
 
That is sick, damn, shouldn't be legal I'll tell ya'! :) I wouldn't worry about the dreams anymore, bud, I bet that one pictures going to keep you up at night pmbspyder.
 
Looks great! I'm imagining the grinds and scales and I really like the lines.
 
Haha thanks guys! The pic will most certainly haunt me, at least until I see more in the "ready to ship" thread! This is gonna be one baaad hawk!

Yeeessssssss! Any and all pics through the process are most welcome. But I'm sure I don't need to tell you that!
 
Right now it`s on the first of the tempering cycles. The handles were rough cut before I started heat treating it, so tomorrow I will be cleaning it up, and glueing the handles on. (I will post photos!) Should be shaping the handles on Saturday. After that I will post the specs, including weight.
