Hey no problem man, your job sounds real interesting. Law enforcement? I'm in MD too, just moved to Bethesda from NYC. Also ordered my first handgun the other day. Walther PPQ. Can't wait for it to get here. Let me know what you end up deciding (I believe grunt soldier has a spike hawk max and may be able to give you some good info - hope he doesn't mind me mentioning him).
