Techno (by MarcinS) - new model coming soon...

This is one of those nice designs that is "different" enough to be cool and interesting, but not such a departure from the norm that it looks "different just for the sake of being different". If that makes sense.

A 4-way clip would be desirable.

This knife is keeping me from buying another Sage 2. I sold mine a while back and have regretted not having a Ti Frame Spydie, but the Sage 2 just never did it for me like the Sage 1 did (or my small Sebenza).

I want it to be here more than just about any other knife right now.

C'MON TECHNO!

I can't believe there's not more excitement around this model. It should start shipping pretty soon (according to the answer I got on Spyderco's facebook page).

I'm seriously psyched!

Seems to be the same few folks commenting in threads like this one (myself included) which may imply a lack of interest, but I have a feeling that once the Techno starts hitting dealer shelves it'll be selling out quickly. I've read some concerns about the size to price ratio with this model, but considering the materials involved and the thickness of the blade, I feel that it's a hell of a knife for the coin. It also doesn't hurt that Mr. Slysz's exceptional design has an Anso like feel to it :)

I hear ya. I'm hopeful that this one will do what my Sage 2 couldn't (kick the small Sebenza out of the pocket).

I really dig the thick blade (and I love the blue toothed back-spacer), but the blade deep-nesting in the scales when closed is what really excites me (well, that and CTS-XHP, which is my favorite steel).

I might have to pick one of these up. Looks great and I have been wanting to get a little tank for a while now so this would be a good choice.

I wanted one the second I saw the pictures of it. I love that little blue backspacer and it's a perfect size for a smaller edc. I loved the leafstorm the second I saw it to. This one is a winner to me, can't wait to have it in hand.

I've been drooling over this knife ever since I saw the prototype. I just have to keep telling myself.... it'll be here soon, it'll be here soon hehe

I've avoided the purchase of two other knives now in an attempt to keep my money handy for this guy, but I'm growing weak...

I know what you mean, I gave in this morning, and purchased a Falkniven PXL WH to satisfy my wants for now. :p

Just picked up one of the Orange Salt Ladybugs from County Comm to try and stave off the urges :D

if anyone is ever one the spydercofacebook page you can tell how eagerly i have been waiting for this knife for what seems like forever. My pants are going to explode from orgasmic pleasure the moment i get my hands on that knife
